I rarely need to make an appointment to see a GP, but initially it was challenging. This particular appointment was made at the surgery with the receptionists at Middleton Surgery as a follow-up to tests, so was much easier.

I am very happy with the way Middleton Surgery is run.

The receptionist was great he was polite and friendly. My telephone appointment was with the clinical pharmacist. The appointment was for 09.40 hours but I did not get a call till 09.55. Again there was no apology for the late call until I said the time of my appointment. The pharmacist was thorough, polite and easy to talk to and did not rush me and gave me time to ask questions.

Apologise without having to be prompted.

This review was for my appointment to have my bloods taken. Despite being the first appointment and me being early I was not called in for my appointment until 08.07 hours and was not even given an apology for being called in late.

Be prompt and apologise.
